Project Practical Training 50
Project
Practical Training 50 (German: PP50) is an initiative for decreasing
unemployment in Vorarlberg and is carried out by the mandates of the Job
Market Service (German: AMS) of Vorarlberg, the State of Vorarlberg and
the Industrial Federation of Vorarlberg.
We are always looking
for internship and on-the-job training opportunities with Vorarlberg
businesses. They should be concerned with a company’s activities that are
not otherwise dealt with within the enterprise with the aim of
accomplishing a project. A business plans the project for a duration of
three months. Projects are temporary tasks. MERLIN Business Consulting
recruit the suitable trainees (usually young people up to 25 years of age
and people over 50 years old who are looking for employment) and oversees
the project to the end.
For the enterprise this is not
considered official employment and thus no bureaucratic expenditures
are incurred! The trainees are locked into only a practical training
agreement with the company. The trainees are covered for all social and
accidental insurance through the Job Market Service (German: AMS) of
Vorarlberg.
One trainee costs your business € 900, - - for three
months. The full amount is billed at the end of the project. Trainees
receive a monthly stipend of € 300,-- in addition to their
unemployment benefits (stipends are not considered income under the social
welfare laws).
The advantages are obvious:
Businesses
profit, since they can realize potential yield because tasks, which
were not otherwise completed, are finished.
The people involved
benefit from it, because they return to the workplace with the chance
of gaining a permanent position.
Businesses and job seekers who are
interested in such practical training courses should contact Merlin by
calling 0043 / 5572 / 52800 or email at: buero@merlin-ub.at.
