Flexibility Consultation for Businesses
Flexibility
Consultation promotes new impulses in personnel management for both
businesses and workers.
The
goal of free consultation is for businesses to be supported on a
flexible job market through meaningful interventions during capacity
fluctuations, and to secure the employment of workers through
qualification and work models, as well as other supporting measures.
Consultations will be guided by consulting agencies contracted by the AMS,
and are financed by the AMS (Austrian Job Market Service) and the European
Social Fund (ESF). (Valid since September 2005.)
Flexibility
consultation for businesses is based predominately for middle-sized to
larger businesses with more than 50 employees, and whose operational
development is shaped by phases in capacity fluctuations, search processes
or redundancy. In compliance to the requirements of the (regional) job
market and adjusted to the interests of enterprises and employees, the
following consulting service topics are financed:

Adjustment to organisational structures

Adjustment to qualifications portfolios

Stabilization of inter— and outer-plant mobility of employees
-
Making work schedules flexible
-
The use of flexible workforces
-
Diversity management
The maximum duration of the consultation amounts to:
Initial
Conference: 1 consulting day
For the development of a flexible
strategy: 5 consulting days
For the execution of flexibility
consultation: 8 consulting days and/or 9 consulting days in the case
of additional consultation required regarding supplementing in-plant
promotion measures for women.
All consulting costs are paid for by
the AMS (Austrian Job Market Servicfe) and the ESF.
